International partner day at Freek on the occasion of the K-Show - 11.09.2013

"It only takes place every three years and given Freek's recent expansions and the production extensions it just makes sense to jump at the opportunity of this year's K-Show" says managing director Wolfgang Kaiser.

About 20 international partners have already accepted Freek's invitation to start the 1,5 h tour to Menden (Sauerland) on Friday, 18th October 2013, together with the two at Freek responsible brothers Wolfgang and Stefan Kaiser as well as Michael Ablas (authorized signatory) to see the recent developments of the well-known process heat specialist at the production site in Menden. Among these are the structural expansions, e.g. the extended rear hall with approx. 500 m² additional production space and various extensions of the administration offices (air photograph). This is attended by the extension of the fastest expanding production area of electric nozzle heating elements and the implementation of new innovative technologies and systems. Assumingly the production of electric cartridge heaters and tubular heaters which is still under construction will also trigger the visitors' interest. Freek's positive and lasting development was favoured by scientific support in the framework of strategically flanking joint research projects in the sectors production and innovation research. Succeeding Eucopet, Lean und Low2high a new follow-up project is currently imminent. (More information on Freek's research projects).

For the third time in a row Freek will be present at the K-show 2013 with its long-term Irish partner, the infrared heat specialist Ceramicx Ireland. On the 54 m² common booth A01 in hall 11 everything is again about heating plastics. The show is filled with numerous innovations. Freek shows new versions of its heat sink elements, coating options of reflection tube nozzle heaters, a "super flexible" tubular heater as well as additional miniaturization successes and Xtreme-options. Ceramicx comes up with a new, even more efficient ceramic emitter generation and a unique measuring system for infrared heaters. This system celebrates its premiere at the K-show and can be seen live in action. As highlight the developer and manufacturer himself is on-site. He will be happy to answer questions of interested visitors coming from economy and science.
