Solid State Relay

Often the power of the heating element is too high to be switched directly by the controller. In this case conventional contactors or electronic solid state relays are needed.

The JCS 33A/R can switch max. 3A (690W) at 230V AC with its internal relay. For higher currents and permanent operation it is necessary to use a controller with a direct current output (S) to drive a solid state relay. The output creates a potential free current of 12V being able to switch one of the following solid state relays:

Main field of applications

  • Thermoforming
  • Plastic extrusion lines
  • Packaging machinery
  • Industrial ovens and furnances
  • Filling machines
