With tailwind to Fakuma and Euromold 2014 - 08.09.2014

Friedr. Freek is expanding

The electric heat expert Friedr. Freek is currently experiencing the most successful year in its almost 65 years of company history. The order books are well filled, the employee recruitment is in progress and a further extension already planned. The positive economic boom is one reason for these steps for the Menden-based company. However, the managing directors Wolfgang and Stefan Kaiser are also of the opinion that many decisions were taken in the right way as well. Especially the various product and process innovations are rewarded by the market. This can be seen not only in the increasing new business but also in the growing willingness of OEM customers to take up long-term relationships with Freek. In this year alone Freek was able to conclude contracts running for several years with four well-known hot runner manufacturers. Michael Ablas, authorized representative and responsible division manager, has a simple explanation for this: "Good products and reliable service combined with short delivery times are always the best promotion".

In addition to the FAKUMA (A2-2206) Freek will also exhibit at the Euromold in this year for the first time. However, the focus here is on infrared-heat technology which is handled together with the Irish manufacturer and long-term development partner Ceramicx Ireland (www.ceramicx.com).

As participant in the theme park thermoforming in hall 8 Freek likes to convince the customers with the improved ceramic emitters, quartz emitters and quartz halogen emitters. To underline these improvements Freek can show the achieved development successes and differences in performance based on studies and test results. Especially impressing is the measuring of the effectively emitted heat flux of different emitters in various installations measured by the test robot "Herschel" in the Ceramicx Centre for Infrared Innovation (C2I2).
